I’ve recently been spending a lot of time staring at colors I see around me. I’ve learned to appreciate the art of passing by at the perfect time, in the perfect light, to witness something vibrantly beautiful. In my recent work, I’ve attempted to recreate this experience through paint by layering thin washes of acrylic tones over top of each other and over an intensely white background, unlocking their vibrancy, complexity, and mystery.
